Moonlight Portraiture

I gots a new wacom tablet for Christmas!!! *hugs her roommates*.

Oh how I do miss doing a digital painting here and there. I think I've gotten the hang of the damn painting programs finally. I dusted off the rust and found that it was the easiest attempt at digital I've done. I think it's also the most successful. I had no real problems this time and I'm proud of how this came out. Took about five hours straight.

This is giftart and one of my Christmas gifts to my dear *DarknessArts. It is her character Maeve, as the frame displays. She is half moon elf, half siren...and I just realized that the water in the background is significant because of that. Whee! Happy mistakes are good. So there are all elements of the character's makeup within the painting.
