Lady in White

The world outside is dressed like a bride
Gowned and powdered and glittering bright
The wind like the brush of an artist doth glide
Over all of her surfaces, cosmetic applied
But that wind is strict and she has some bite
Let no foot or tire mar the unsullied sight
Of Gaia so garbed on this cold winter's night
Evanescent robes clothe the lady in white
