It's FINALLY finished.
Hi all. I'm alive. I know I've been updating craptastically as of late. It's depressing. I used to update fucking daily. Now I'm lucky if it's two times a month! WHAT'S HAPPENING TO ME!?
Anyways...
This was a watercolor painting that I just finished sort of depicting magic fading from our world. The background is the destruction of nature, magic's mother, and How everything around it suffers.
I don't like it, but it's something. Enjoy for what it's worth folks.

I think you should like it! There are so many different examples of how to express texture and place emotion into your brush strokes..The awe around the pot is well articulated in that fashion, and I think you'll notice that the figure against the tree is handled more smoothly while the tree is handled more roughly, partly to account for its bark, but to also make a contrast between the age of the two, and their place in nature..Personally, I'm very impressed with this piece.
